Annihilation of Wickedness

The word annihilation mean complete destruction or extinction of something. It should be noted here that for all Christians, our primary enemy is the Satan and his host of demons. Like scripture says we wrestles not against flesh and blood. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:10‭-‬12 KJV So whenever we talk or think of the wicked one, our target or focus should be kingdom of darkness and not men. Many at time we misinterpreted our fellow human as the wicked. The truth is that there are always spiritual power backing every actions and activities of men. For Christian it is power of God while non christian operates by the satanic power. This is ...

Ministry and Ministers in the Church of Christ.

What is ministry and who is a minister are questions most people asked or are eager to find detail information about. There are 3 classification to Christian approach when ministry is discussed. Some Christian claimed they are ordained and called into ministries such as Pastoring, Prophetic office and Evangelist. These are people who occupied the most prominent and visible positions among the Church. Others are into so called minor services like administration, help, choir, children coordinators, security, sanitation etc. Most time they are unnoticed and in fact some of them are praying for God to call them into ministry. They don't usually consider themselves as people called into ministry just because they are not in category one. The third category are just comfortable with been members alone. Some of these last set believe you must be specifically called by God into ministry. So why waiting for that audible voice call or the frightening dreams or vision, they do nothing in ...

Please explain James Chapter One? James Chapter One Exposition

There are so many teachings on this chapter alone. Topics on the Temptation, Wisdom, Danger of not following the word of God, True religion etc. But for the sake of what you asked, let me just try to link them up around one topic. OVERCOMING TEMPTATION James stated this chapter by talking about our response to temptation. He said be joyful when you FALL into temptation. The word fall here draw so much attention. He didn't say when we are trying to overcome or when we had overcome temptation. One may be wondering, how can I possibly rejoice when I fall knowing what vs 15 says: Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. James 1:15 KJV How could God possibly say we should rejoice when we are suppose to be afraid of death the final judgement for falling into temptation? Vs 12-14 explained to us that temptation is pursuit of self desire against God's will. Anytime we prefer to do what we want we are tending t...

Where will Dead Souls be before judgement?

Where will our souls be before Judgement? This is one major question man ask about death, judgement, heaven and hell. We all want to know what happen to us immediately we died. Will our souls immediately go to heaven, hell or wonder around the earth. “Later, Lazarus died. The angels took him and placed him in the arms of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried. He was sent to the place of death and was in great pain. He saw Abraham far away with Lazarus in his arms.Luke 16:22-23 ERV The account here suggested that dead Lazarus was taken and placed in  Abraham arms (place of rest, Jesus called it Paradise, it was also referred to as heaven in some scriptures). On the order hand the buried rich was taken to the place of death(Sheol, Hade, Hell). We can clearly see that two different places were available as temporary destination. Were they taken immediately after death? If we follow closely this account was narrated by Jesus Christ who is the resurrection and life. Th...
