Major turnaround brought to Africa by missionaries who flooded it many years ago left an impact that will remain forever. The birth of Christians who grew up to become Spiritual Gaints and great Battle Axe of God. The revival move was more evidence in Nigeria as it stand today as a black nation with numerous apostles of faith, heaven ordained prominent men of God. In fact all over the world, the nation Nigeria stood at present to be the leading country when we talk about land where some right standing men before God are turning lifes around by the message of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Alongside spiritual development, there were also notable physical changes in the well-being of the people by the charitable works of the missionaries. Infrastructures, Healthcare, Education, Clothes and Shelters were made available. These drew more people to the faith as it was until date.
Not to bored you with much history. In the nation today there are clear evidences of backward movement. The nation seems to be changing with time from good to bad and now on the verge of worse. Evil increased in magnitude never witnessed before in the land. Bloodshed, wickedness, greed, immorality and Idolatry are the pillars on which the nation stand.
The troubling questions from many in the land are; why so many Christian and Churches and evil thrives, why are people laid with so much burdens in the mist of plenty, why great men of God everywhere and yet the nation suffers. Some wonder if God honours the prayer of these Spiritual Giants who sincerely long for a nation flowing with milk and honey. What could be responsible for our doomed nation.
We are a nation suffering from the Judgement of God. The amazing thing about these situation is that God will not deliver a sinful nation by the righteousness of the Spiritual Giants present therein but by action of all professed faithful people in error who genuinely return back to the Lord in repentance. Did I just say that or it was God's verdict?
“Son of man, if a land sins against Me by committing unfaithfulness, and I stretch out My hand against it and destroy its source of bread and send famine on it and cut off from it both man and animal, even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job were in that land, by their own righteousness (right standing with God) they could only save (deliver) themselves,” says the Lord God . “If I were to cause predatory beasts to pass through the land and they ravaged it and depopulated it of children, and it became desolate so that no one would pass through because of the predators, though these three men were in the land, as I live,” says the Lord God , “they could not save either their sons or their daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate (ruined, deserted). Or if I were to bring a sword on that land and say, ‘Let a sword go through the land and cut off man and animal from it,’ even though these three men were in the land, as I live,” says the Lord God , “they could not save either their sons or their daughters, but they alone would be saved. Listen carefully, they are going to come out to you [in Babylon] and you will see their [wicked] conduct and [despicable] actions; then you will be at peace in regard to the disaster which I have brought against Jerusalem for everything which I have brought on it [has been deserved]. It was repeatedly revealed to Prophet Ezekiel that if all these righteous men combined together and under same dispensation; in same nation, their faithfulness can only saved them but not the nation. These truth should make us weep and cry to God as a nation not just for deliverance from enemies but a sincere confession of our sin as people so that God can heal our land. We should stop the delusion that our Spiritual Giants and men of righteousness can save us.
Talking about our nation turning unto God, I opined that our leaders should turn to righteousness. But God revealed that some of them are beasts He sent to pass through our land to emptied and make it desolate. They are the bloodshedding swords to trouble the sinful nation. They are the power behind famine and poverty in the land. Permit me not to mention names of great men of God in Nigeria, but I will reiterate that when a nation is under the judgement of God for continuous unfaithfulness, Idolatry and sin of all kinds, the righteousness of the faithful men cannot save the nation.
Father Abraham was a righteous man who was privileged to negotiate for continuous existence of two immoral and wicked nations of Sodom and Gomorrah. The answers God gave him may prompt bible scholars to quickly disproved Prophet Ezekiel revelation of God's standard. Intercession of Spiritual Giants can save a nation with good number of righteous people from total destruction. But not from consequence of sin which are famine, pestilence, swords and devouring beasts in human appearance. Nigeria remain indivisible entity and has not gone to extinct despite great evil done. Only because of the presence of both Spiritual Giants and some faithful saints.
How then do we avert this horrible situation?

God said only if His children will pray the right prayer. The prayer of repentance in humility. Embarked on the journey of seeking for things that gladdens God's heart. This happened when they take a turn for a new normal. Just then the ears of the Lord will be opened, sins will be forgiven and the land will experience wellness. Please note, God never expect everybody in a nation to turn. He only required everyone who is named with Jesus Christ to depart from iniquity. The demand of God truly confirmed that the nation was in terrible state because multitude who are people of God harbor sin. It then means polluted Churches and unsanctified Christian are the cause of Nigeria woe. But our attention was focused on putting blame on the beasts performing their ordained role of plundering our wealth and health. A nation cannot be freed by the beasts sent to devour it. Freedom is in the Church. It is not in wailing and struggling but in praying.
It is time to do the needful, freedom for our nation is in the hand of God's people, His army who will uproot Economic, Political, Infrastructure and Social devouring beasts. Let the remnants(survivors) who are spared by God turn from error and seek for power to fulfill this great task of restoration. God called us remnants because many who are supposed to enlist in the army will turn to pleasure of the world out of selfish interest as Lot's wife did. Many will prefer silver to salvation like Judas. Many are beneficiaries of the nation slavery experience. Only the remnants that the Lord will save from their sin when they sincerely turned, will be made worthy to heal the land. Time has come for these army who will cut across all tribes and tongues but only with one focus. The great nation Nigeria as burden in their hearts. They are assembly of men who care less about religion but only trust in the power of God.
