God scattered tongues to create tribes in the land of Shinar(Tower of Babel) but unified us back as a holy nation in Jerusalem upper room.
There was a time when the whole world spoke one language. Everyone used the same words. Then the people said, “Let’s build ourselves a city and a tower that will reach to the sky. Then we will be famous. This will keep us together so that we will not be scattered all over the earth.” The Lord said, “These people all speak the same language. And I see that they are joined together to do this work. This is only the beginning of what they can do. Soon they will be able to do anything they want. Let’s go down and confuse their language. Then they will not understand each other.”

A large crowd came together because they heard the noise. They were surprised because, as the apostles were speaking, everyone heard in their own language. They were all amazed at this. They did not understand how the apostles could do this. They said, “Look! These men we hear speaking are all from Galilee. But we hear them in our own languages. How is this possible? We are from all these different places: Parthia, Media, Elam, Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia, Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the areas of Libya near the city of Cyrene, Rome, Crete, and Arabia. Some of us were born Jews, and others have changed their religion to worship God like Jews. We are from these different countries, but we can hear these men in our own languages! We can all understand the great things they are saying about God.” The people were all amazed and confused. They asked each other, “What is happening?”

The heart touching question is why the world remain tribally divided and humanity enemy of itself with determination to kill and destroy each other?
Tower of Babel experience open humanity to be at war with itself. Unity of purpose by men in any location that is not in accordance with the will of God usually unlocked unrest and wickedness against fellow men. Nation against nations, Kingdom against kingdoms and religion against the Church. Any form of war, anger, division and disunity is an expression of the spirit on Babel. God is never against unity of men if it emerged from His will.
Does God want man to be forever at war with itself? God sent His son Jesus Christ to restore mankind back to fellowship in one language. The experience of the return to God cannot be completed without reversal of Babel. The manifestation of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost first achieved unification of tongues. Language of the spirit when spoken commands attention from all nation and tribes to their source. The God to whom all worship and dominion is ascribed. At Pentecost all nation must return to same speech and tongues.
Can we ever truly witness the renewed world of no tribe, the purpose of Pentecost?
Christian are the only partaker of this awesome experience. Holy Spirit united us all over the world as one tongue. As many who never wake up to truly surrender to Jesus Christ and become unified to God by His Spirit will forever operate by the spirit of Babel. No wonder christianity is never and will never be religion of different doctrinal believes as it is widely seen in our world. True believers are one body united with one voice in the Holy Spirit. People with this knowledge only concentrate efforts on restoration of lost souls all over the world to Christ by preaching salvation from spirit of Babel and tribalism to equip men with the knowledge of Pentecost.
Unity of the Church without denomination barrier is the key to deliverance of the world from Babylonian demon of division. Pull down the wall of denomination and see Pentecost happening again in our time.
